Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born 15th September 1915 at Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, brought up in the Mormon Church's First Family, utilized her writing talent as well as skills in researching to produce the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 with the title: No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. The title comes from the funeral sermon delivered by Joseph Smith who was the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. The preacher shocked the audience when he said telling his audience: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know my heart." My history is not known to anyone. Truth is, I don't know. Fawn (29 year old) said that, since her moment of candor the three hundred and thirty writers have stood up to the event. Many have abused him others have praised him, Some have tried their hands at diagnosing him. The problem isn't just that the documents do not exist, but however they're in complete contradiction. This is the task--sifting out personal testimony from third party fraud and then blending Mormon and non-Mormon narratives into a mosaic of credible theology. This is exciting as well as educational. FawnBrodie dedicated herself to this career path. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens became immortalized through her works and the fruit of her research. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The Southern The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. The intimate Histories (1974), and Richard Nixon.
