Fearless wound up having considerable legs not only within the U.S. where it racked up six platinum singles on the strength of the Top Ten hits Love Story and the hit single You Belong with Me but throughout the globe, performing especially well in the U.K. Canada and Australia. Speak Now delivered almost two years later and consolidated this popularity and pushed Swift to the heights of stardom. With the three albums following the three albums that followed -- Red 2012 1989 2014, along with Reputation 2017 -- Swift's success only grew. It was a clear indicator that Swift had entered the new music scene where she fit in. Her name was always on top of the charts even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums folklore & Evermore in 2020.
