Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and model who was a former actor who has since retired. Elson started the acting profession as a a child actor/model and later as a professional actress, is famous for her portrayal as Alice Tyler as seen on CBS's science-fiction drama series. Andrea won the role of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) after she auditioned. Andrea was a part of a variety of popular TV shows as well as Movies of the Weekly for several more seasons before she resigned from the world of entertainment to focus on her family. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teen daughter was not easy for her. People magazine released a retrospective of her career in the year 2000. She said that growing up as a girl in the spotlight was not simple. The blonde New York City actress was born on the 6th of March 1970. Her father worked in advertising and she grew up travelling because of it. Before she was ten years old she had lived throughout New York Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles. While in San Diego Andrea got an agent and won the first role she tried to audition for. Fusco justified the statement by saying "ALF has a lifespan of 285 years which means he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." When ALF began to be becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco would not be able to continue having ALF drinking beer before the children. This was not a good character for a role model. Fusco believes that ALF had the maturity to not drink and drive was wrong. The year 1995 was the year he was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was treated successfully, and the cancer remained in remission up until 2019. At the Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey, on Friday 26th June 2019, he passed away due to this condition at age 75.
